Activity Description
A 30 minute drive will take you near the town of Modra in the most renown wine region of Slovakia : the Little Carpathians. In the last few years, the Slovak wines have been awarded several medals for its quality. The tasting will take place in a selected Slovak wine producer. After a visit of the complex, including a tower to contemplate the surrounding region and the presentation of the wine making process (produced on-site), the sommelier will proceed to the tasting of 5 good wines. Slovak cheese and homemade bread will be served accordingly with the wine. For groups smaller than 10 persons, the tasting will occur in a special cave where the best wines are preserved – the wine archive.

The wine region (Modra, Senkvice, Pezinok) is located 30 minutes from Bratislava.

If your group wants to discover the best of Slovak wine without spending hours learning about winemaking, this experience is the perfect choice. Enjoy access to an impressive selection of over 80 Slovak wines in a unique underground wine cellar located in the heart of Bratislava. Wine tastings are available daily at 12:00, 14:00, and 16:00 (except Sundays and Mondays). During the first hour, your group will have a private sommelier who will guide you through the tasting, introduce the different wines, and share fascinating insights into Slovakia's rich wine culture. The historic underground wine cellar can also be exclusively reserved for private events, corporate functions, and teambuilding activities. A private sommelier can be added to enhance the experience.
